Security and data handling

How Cadus handles bank data, receipts, and deletion requests

Cadus stores sensitive business records, so users should be able to review how financial data, bank connections, receipt records, and receipt storage practices are described before using the app.

Bank connections

Cadus uses Plaid for bank connections. The privacy policy says bank credentials are entered directly into Plaid's secure interface and are not stored by Cadus.

Receipt and transaction records

Cadus stores business expense records, income records, receipt images, transaction details, and reports so users can organize tax-ready records.

Account deletion

Cadus provides a verified in-app deletion flow and public deletion-request path, revokes linked access, and deletes associated data unless a documented legal exception applies.

Published practices

Security questions

Does Cadus store bank login credentials?

The Cadus Privacy Policy says bank credentials are entered directly into Plaid's secure interface and Cadus does not see, receive, or store bank usernames or passwords.

How do users request account deletion?

Users can use the in-app deletion flow in Settings or the public account-deletion page. Cadus verifies the request before permanently deleting the account.
